Cillian Murphy is not only an Irish actor who had his breakout role in the play “Disco Pigs” in 1996. With his recent success in "Oppenheimer," he has been unstoppable since his performance in "28 Days Later." Let's take a ride down memory lane and explore the impact his expressions have left across the globe.

J. Robert Oppenheimer, in "Oppenheimer," is a theoretical physicist who invented the world's finest atomic bomb, leaving everyone in awe (including our very own and deeply loved Iron Man). However, he was unable to handle the anxiety that led to such destruction, which led to his first Golden Globe Award.

If you think that was scary, you might want to recall his role as Scarecrow in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight Rises," where he could easily make people suffer by forcing them to walk through their nightmares. Imagine getting stuck in that loop.

Cillian also happens to be the heartbeat of the OTT platform by simply texting Steven Knight, saying, “Remember, I am an actor.” The multi-layered role of Tommy Shelby in the period drama series "Peaky Blinders" was so intense, confident, and layered that Murphy was certain he couldn't miss out on it. We all know how much that decision paid off when it left us with goosebumps.

Digging deeper into his roles, we can't ignore his portrayal of Robert Fischer Jr. in "Inception." In Murphy’s words, “a petulant child in need of attention from his father, emotionally lacking despite having everything materially.” Asians can easily connect to this emotion, as we've all been in the shoes of Cillian and Robert Fischer. A similar emotion has triggered the animal side of Ranbir Kapoor as Ranvijay Balbir Singh in the movie "Animal."

So, what’s the secret sauce here?

Is it his relationship with Christopher Nolan, or is it his inner child that never wants to end the curiosity of drama and capture as many reels as possible, providing enough cinematic experience for his fans to binge-watch with their friends, spouses, and grandkids?

Which character of Cillian Murphy did you connect with the most, and how did it change your view towards cinema, drama, and everything that lies in between?
